so i stumbled upon a new site the other day... airlinemeals.net where believe it or not, that picture was yanked from. fine it's from a first class meal on a continental airlines flight but even the coach meals don't look terrible.... it's also kinda fun to see what other countries airlines serve. (or maybe i'm just a geek)also, mississippi is passing a bill banning restaurants and fast food places from serving people deemed obese, claiming that if they do so they will loose their health department license. read about that... here
and now that absinthe is legal in the u.s. epicurious reviews the first two to make their debut stateside. the first being lucid which i know a few of my friends have tried.. (here.) and the second being kubler (here.)- when i was home for christmas my mother and i went to a french brasserie called pigalles kinda by hells kitchen they had it on the menu, but considering my company i figured a glass of riesling was better choice....next time...i suppose.
