i knew i loved mario batali for a reason...(and not just for his amazing veal saltimbocca at lupa)

here he is talking about "foodbloggers" (or more correctly food bloggers that think they're food critics)

speaking of art..works by 4 of my favorite artists (van gogh, degas, monet, and cezanne) were stolen at gunpoint from a small museum in switzerland (here.) apparently the works were worth an estimated $163 million total.  well at least my absolute fave edvard munch was spared this time..
